We are a young couple, Elisa and Roberto, aged 36 and 40, respectively.
We love to travel around the world and through our beloved region of Friuli, defined by Ippolito Nievo as a "small compendium of the universe, alpine, flat, featuring lagoons (Piccolo compendio dell'universo, alpestre piano e lagunoso in sessanta miglia da tramontana a mezzodì)". Elisa

I am fluent in English and Spanish and I have a basic knowledge of German and Turkish.
After accidentally obtaining my degree in an obscure scientific discipline, I got back on the straight and narrow :-)
I lived in Spain and Turkey and I visited a lot of places in Europe and a few places in the Balkans… I made two long journeys in Central America (Mexico and Guatemala) and South America (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru) with only my backpack for company plus… a great deal of luck (as the saying goes, fortune favours the brave!)
Gardening and horticulture are my passions, therefore I will be glad to offer our guests the fruits of my little garden, namely apples, pears, peaches, pomegranates and vegetables such as tomatoes, aubergines and courgettes.
I worked at some prestigious wineries located in our “wine region” called Colli Orientali del Friuli; guided tours can be organized for our guests in cooperation with these wineries.

Roberto

I speak English and Spanish fluently.
My job in the TV production industry gives me the opportunity to travel around the world, discover faraway places, such as Central America, and different cultures, and thus grasp the various nuances of the world. I love nature and I adore cooking, so I really much enjoy being able to use the fruits of our garden for my recipes. A short while ago I started my apiculture activity. I’ll be delighted to offer Italian and Friulian cooking lessons to our guests.

and Aurora?

Aurora is Elisa’s mother and also the owner of the property, which she inherited from her fatherly aunt. We decided to name our Family Bed and Breakfast after her to thank her for giving us the opportunity to put in place our project of tourism accommodation right here in Cividale del Friuli! Thanks mom!
